In accordance with the Mohan Principles, admission of expert evidence requires: (a) that it be relevant to the issues; (b) that it be necessary in assisting the trier of fact; (c) the absence of any exclusionary rule; and (d) a properly qualified expert. Our program will discuss the following:

  • Why portions of reports, or reports in their entirety are deemed inadmissible
  • Common legal arguments of admissibility
